Eckford Hospitality Partners is a private real estate investment firm focused on hospitality assets which fill the void for travelers who prefer alternatives to the traditional hotel model. We acquire boutique buildings, operate them as fully serviced residences, and own them for the long term on behalf of our investors.
Our Story
Founded by operators, not just investors.
Eckford was founded in 2014 on a simple observation: travelers increasingly want the space and comfort of a home with the service and flexibility of a hotel, yet the supply of well-run, well-located apartment-hotels remained scarce.
Our first development was on a building located on North 8th Street in Williamsburg — which we have since sold (now named The Penny). By managing every aspect of the guest experience ourselves, we proved that a boutique, owner-operated model could deliver both exceptional hospitality and resilient, institutional-grade returns.
Today we continue to expand that model into supply-constrained markets, building a portfolio of assets we are proud to own for decades, not quarters.
